What's the magic that turns the KoolBrella™ into a shade making machine?

The aluminum colored outer coating is treated specifically to reflect and block the sun's harmful rays much like the old tin roofs kept  the home cool in years past. The cooling effect is instantly felt and equally important, your personal shade environment goes where you go.

Who is it designed for?

Anyone...Everyone...but I designed the KoolBrella™ for lady golfers. When living in the very hot Singapore climate I soon discovered that playing good golf without an aluminum coated umbrella was just not possible. But there was still the problem of it being too heavy and hard to handle especially in the wind.  Upon return to the States I designed the KoolBrella so that it would be significantly more lightweight and much easier to use and control.  I soon discovered that having the lightweight version was a key element as a regular size  (62" or larger")  was too fatiguing  and a distraction to my focus whereas the lightweight KoolBrella™ could be carried for the whole round.

It's no secret that sun saps energy in no time at all so controlling the sun especially in extreme or direct sunlight is important to keeping the body temperature on an even keel.  Controlling the heat and sun incnreased my ability to focus and concentrate.

it was no surprise that my golf scores and handicap started dropping. A win-win on all fronts.

Why not just use a standard size golf umbrella for sun protection?

The KoolBrella's™ aluminum powder outer coating reflects the harmful , hot rays from the sun providing not only SUN protection but also provides a cooling atmosphere. While a normal golf umbrella is better than nothing, there is very little, if any, real protection from the harmful effects of the sun leaving a sunburn a real possibility.
